A blog dedicated to communities, families and organizations everywhere who have taken the time and effort and with loving hands, have self-published a cookbook. So dig out all of those church, community or family cookbooks and let's have fun with some good ol' fashioned cooking.

THE SIMPLE RULES
This blog will feature only recipes found in community, church or family self-published cookbooks.
How do I participate?
1. Subscribe to this blog and then watch for notifications explaining categories and deadline dates.
2. You must have a blog.
3. To submit recipes simply post the recipe on your blog, and provide a link to this blog in your post.
4. Send me a photo of the the dish, a photo of the cover of the cookbook and the link url to the post. Please include a brief description of the community cookbook and a publish date would be interesting to all.
5. The definition of self-published: Cookbooks created by community organizations, families, or churches. These cookbooks can be published with the intent of fund raising or simply for purposes of recipe archiving (such as family cookbooks). Cookbooks can be created and published by the group, or published by a cookbook publishing company who provides this service.
This blog is dedicated to my Aunt Lena who not only was a huge positive influence on my life but also my inspiration for loving food, talking about food, cooking food and the organizer of countless family gatherings around large pot-luck buffets of home cooked offerings. Miss and love you.
